It’s official people, the very popular webseries by Kevin Tancharoen, Mortal Kombat: Legacy will be returning for a second season. For those of you that don’t know, season one was very well received by the online community and consisted of 9 episodes, each 10 – 12 minutes long, that featured the origin stories of some of the franchise’s most important players. According to the video above, season two will be a lot more action-packed with the focus now on the actual tournament itself.

With Season Two completely written, Tancharoen claims he has addressed the wants of season-one fans by promising to deliver “more fighting, more action” and “more visual effects”. At time of press, there’s been no official word on when the first episode is set to stream, or if the entire cast from Episode 1 will be making a return, but as more news surface, you can count on Nizulo to keep you informed.
