Planetside 2 – “Death is No Excuse” CGI Trailer

Planetside2-CGI-Trailer

Sony Online Entertainment have just released a CGI trailer for their upcoming MMOFPS game, Planetside 2. Although the CGI footage has the soldiers doing things you won’t actually be able to do in the midst of online combat, the trailer looks ridiculously good!

In it, you’ll follow a high-ranking soldier (presumably) as he jet-packs around laying waste to everything in his path. From tanks to troop-carrying aircrafts, all of them seem to be cleaned up pretty well… Until, well, you just need to see for yourself.

PlanetSide 2 is an upcoming video game published by Sony Online Entertainment. The game is a sequel to PlanetSide originally released in 2003. The game was officially announced on July 7, 2011 at the Sony Fan Fair.As in the first PlanetSide, PlanetSide 2 chronicles the efforts of three factions as they fight for territorial control of the planet Auraxis.
