Assassin’s Creed 3 recieves new naval walkthrough video

ac3_naval_walkthrough

Ubisoft have just released a walkthrough video of the naval aspect of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3. As expected, the video showcases everything that was shown at GamesCom, with a whole lot more.

Running us through the video is the game’s creative director, Alex Hutchinson, who shows off the level of depth that the new naval aspect brings to AC series. You’ll be shown the different sorts of cannon fire available, along with how weather will affect your aiming and positioning, as well as how AnvilNext will handle the new component. Check out the video below and let us know if you’re as excited as we are.

The naval combat is an awesome addition to the game but my fear is it will only appear once in the campaign which I hope isn’t the case because from this video the whole experience looks spectacular :)

Completely agree. I’m hoping the same thing. I’ll get onto it and find out whether naval battles is a player controlled aspect, as in terms of whether one can initiate battles whenever, and I’ll do an article on it.
