Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies now available on Android

Stumbling its way onto Android devices across the world is the ever popular Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies . But there’s a catch. Read on. Derived from Treyarch’s baby with Activision: Call of Duty: Black Ops, Zombies will first release, for 30 days, exclusively on Sony’s Xperia Smartphones (Xperia Play, S, Ion) with the game actually being optimized for the Play and it’s dedicated gaming keypad. This is no doubt old news for iOS users, having received the game back in December 2011 but for Android wielding CoD fans, this is HUGE.
“Adapted by Ideaworks Game Studio and distributed by Glu Mobile, Inc. in partnership with Activision, Call of Duty®: Black Ops Zombies delivers heart-pounding maps: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, and Call of the Dead: Director’s Cut, as well as “Dead-Ops Arcade,” a 50-level zombie gauntlet that provides the ultimate undead challenge for fans of Call of Duty®’s signature Zombie action. Gamers can play solo, or join a team of four players via Wi-Fi as they mow down hordes of zombies using a variety of weapons and perks only available in the Call of Duty® zombie experience.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies also features an in-app purchasing option dubbed CoD Point System allowing players to enhance their experience by unlocking additional areas and securing better weapons in less time. With Black Ops 2 right around the corner, it seems that the final money-milking steps are being put into place.
