Doom 3 BFG Edition will include 7 new levels
id Software and Bethesda released a new video today showing the exlcusive new levels for Doom 3 BFG Edition, The Lost Missions. The Lost Missions will introduce 7 entirely new levels to the game that fans hope will add a story tie-in to the yet unannounced Doom 4. Bethesda has stated that the additional content will be substantial, adding in “hours” of new gameplay.
Doom 3 BFG Edition will include digitally remastered versions of Doom 3 and the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack. Also included are copies of Doom, the game that pioneered the FPS genre, and Doom 2, making this the definitive collection for any fan of the franchise.

New support for 3D TVs, monitors, and head mounted displays also allows players to experience the game with more depth than ever before. We think shooter fans everywhere will love it.”
Doom 3 BFG Edition is releasing on October 16th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for $39.99 USD and Windows PC for $29.99.
