Halo Infinity Multiplayer for Halo 4 will have Spartan Specializations

After reaching level 50 in your Spartan career in Halo 4‘s multiplayer mode, you will be given the choice of 8 different specializations in which to branch out into. Each specialization will let you level your character an additional 10 levels and will unlock exclusive items with which to customize your Spartan to your liking. As you progress through the 10 levels of each Specialization you will unlock an armor mod, an Armor Set (Helmet, Chest, Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder), an Armor Set Skin (Texture skin for Helmet, Chest, Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder), a Weapon Skin (Texture skin of one of the loadout weapons), 4 Foreground Emblems, 1 Background Emblem, and 1 Visor Color.

The 8 Specializations are Wetwork, the Spartan assassin who gets the Stealth armor mod, the Pioneer who goes on scouting missions to gather and rely information and gets the Fast Track armor mod allowing them to rank up faster than others, Engineers who are responsible for the repair and reconstitution of technology and who gets the Drop Recon armor mod which allows them to predict the dropzone of an ordnance drop, the Tracker who is responsible for the trans-continent or off world tracking  gets the Requisition armor mod which gives them the ability to recall their ordnance and try for something different, and the Rogue, agents sent into the field on missions that require long periods of time, even years, who are given the Stability armor mod increasing their aiming stability when being fired upon. The last couple of Specializations include the Stalker, a Spartan that is optimized for stealth in close proximity to the enemy, who gets the Nemesis armor mod which highlights previous attacking enemies on your HUD, the Pathfinder, who is often deployed deep in unknown enemy territory, gets the Gunner armor mod which decreases the wepaon overheat time and increases player speed when carrying a detached turret, and lastly the Operator who is highly trained in the use of several vehicles and gets the Wheelman armor mod that increases their vehicles’ durability.

Now, only the Wetwork and Pioneer Specializations will be available at launch. The remaining six Specializations are available by pre-ordering Halo 4 exclusively at GAME and gamestation stores. Additionally, all eight Specializations are included Halo 4 Limited Edition. Plans are to gradually release the remaining six Specializations as DLC in the months following its November 6th release.
