KOF XIII Headed To PSN and XBLA

King of Fighters XIII

EVO 2012 has come and gone. Many familiar games were showcased on the grandest stage in the fighting game universe including Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter IV and Virtua Fighter 5. Among the favorites was a hidden gem at EVO: King of Fighters XIII. Many who watched will remember the epic conclusion to the KOF XIII finals that pitted Mad KOF against IGL Bala. The combos and unique strategy used in the match-up was nothing short of amazing. You won’t have to wait until EVO 2013 to experience this kind of hypeness; KOF XIII is now available for you to enjoy on PSN and XBLA!

Players will be able to choose from well over 30 storied characters from the KOF series. Veterans knowledgeable of the previous games will be impressed with the overhauled fighting game engine and much improved online matchmaking that promises faster and more intense local and online battles. New moves and supers will also be added to your fighter of choice; this gives more incentive to grind away in practice mode to show off all those new combos and juggles used for the sheer purpose of punishing your friends (this is all about bragging rights, people).

So, what are you waiting for? Oh yeah, you’re still reading this. First, check out this amazing trailer and feel the hype!
