Rovio and Green Day team up for Angry Birds Friends

Rovio Entertainment, the creators of mega mobile game Angry Birds, announced today a new partnership with multi-platinum band Green Day to launch a new musical episode for Angry Birds Friends. The episode contains 10 new, themed levels, as well as the three bandmates, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool, immortalized in Pig form.

Fans of band can also access some exclusive content, including Green Day’s latest single, “Oh Love”, and an exclusive song for the game, “Troublemaker.”

“We’re all fans of Angry Birds,” said Armstrong. “It’s such an addictive game that when we first started playing it we couldn’t stop. Go Team Green!”
