NAME: Hattz
COUNTRY:USA
PLATFORM: Xbox , PS3What first attracted you to the world of gaming?
Oh man thats a two part question for me. Of course as a child video games pose a interest. From cheap handheld games that I would make Mom buy me at the toy store to my first NES. But as a young adult i took a break from gaming to explore oh lets say Clubs and women and other activites (lol). It wasn’t till I had my first child that i decided to settle down and do the whole wife and kids thing. In order to fill in the gap of extra activites it felt natural to pick up a controller again. To jump in and out of different worlds and just lose myself in a game was the perfect outlet.
What was the first video game you ever played?
First game ever? Oh man not too sure exactly but I do remember playing Star Wars on my cousin’s Atari on a joystick. This was before I had my NES.
What is your fondest gaming memory?
Well as a Kid I remember getting my SEGA Genesis for Christmas. Having that cool black console and new controller. Jumping into the new world of Sonic. Great times! But most recently I have to say was the Mass Effect Series. I just love that Series, that game really touches me. When I’m playing that game I feel like I’m Shepard lol
What’s your worst gaming memory?
There has been many gaming Fails lol. But nothing sucks more then buying a game that sucks or doesn’t live up to what you hoped. But as a great as the SEGA DreamCast was it just fell flat on the market. So ultimately the DreamCast was a long term gaming Fail. Loved it thou.
Have you ever tried any stunts (in reality) which you picked up from a video game?
Yes in fact I have… You know in GTA when you drive next to a Women and she gets in and the car starts to shake? I’ve
done that worked out pretty well. ( lmao )If you could be any game character in the world, who would you be and why?
Now thats a tall order to fill, but but it would have to be Commander Shepard. Its the game I felt most attached to. To meet all the characters and walk on the Normandy? That would be a dream come true.
What’s your favorite game at the moment?
At the moment I would have to say Battlefield 3 for multiplayer. Battlefield 3 is the only FPS to date that I have been able to play for 9 months now and still not get
bored. For campaign game i loved playing Spec Ops. Its the only game that I’ve played back to back besides Mass Effect.Great story solid game all around. What’s your favorite game of all time?
All time? I have to go with 2 games sorry. 1st is GTA Vice City . That was non stop fun, and for recent years Mass Effect series. I know I’ve said Mass Effect a lot but hey… What can I say lol
What do you think gaming will be like in the future?
I think the way we play and what we expect is changing year to year. Gamers are expecting better graphics like PC games. Almost every game is going to have multiplayer or co-op. We are a very social world now and we want to connect to friends like never before. Because of that developers are going to continue to feed us what we want. PlayStation , Xbox and Nintendo are going to continue to compete with each other and the one that can connect us all together the best is going to top the other. Right now I think everyone is looking for the next gen console. Let it be PS4, Xbox 720 or whatever it is, we are ready for the next console.
Any advice for new gamers out there:
You know I have kids that play games now, mostly on their DSI XL. My oldest does play some console games. My advice don’t be afraid to explore new games. Don’t get stuck on what everyone else is playing. There is so many different games to try. Don’t go out and buy COD or BF3 and that be the only game you play for 9 months. A true gamer is a player that tries all types of games and doesn’t get stuck with one game a year. In my opinion anyway lol.
