Two new characters revealed for Dead or Alive 5
Team Ninja is at GamesCom and they’ve brought some goodies for fans of the series. Team Ninja revealed two new fighters that will be joining the DOA 5 roster when it launches at the end of next month. Two characters will be returning in this installment of the franchise, Brad Wong and Eliot.
If you don’t remember, Eliot is called “The Immovable Apprentice” and uses the Xing Yi Quan style of fighting. He’s very fast on his feet and uses bursts of power to overwhelm his opponents and simultaneously defend and attack. The “Drunken Master” Brad Wong uses the drunken boxing style of Zui Quan. It’s a well balanced style of hard-to-predict evasive maneuvers and quick strikes.
The images that they used to announce the two new fighters also revealed a new area in which you’ll face off against your opponents. They’re seen fighting in the small Chinese house seen in the screenshots below. It looks like the fight between the two actually starts over the final dumpling in a meal they were sharing. See, this is why everything I do is done in even numbers; odds are evil.
