While Silent Hill HD gets patched on PS3, 360 owners get an apology

Konami announced today that while a patch has been deployed to resolve issues with the Playstation 3 version of Silent Hill HD Collection, the patch for Xbox 360 owners has been cancelled. Apparently it was cancelled due to technical issues and a lack of resources.

So, if you have the PS3 version of the game you should be able to download the patch that should resolve some of the issues players have been facing, like frame rate issues, audio-synching, and some other reported issues. However, if you’re one of the unlucky gamers that chose the Xbox 360 as your console of choice, all you’ll get from Konami is an apology. That’s good enough, right?

Have any of you had any issues with the game? Additionally, what do you think of Konami’s response to the issue? Let us know all that and more in the comments section below.
