World of Tanks 8.0 update brings new armor and improved graphics

Wargaming, the developer of World of Tanks, today announced the details concerning the upcoming 8.0 update. More than just a content update, 8.0 brings a host of new additions and improvements including a newly improved game engine. For the first time, World of Tanks will now feature realistic tank movement physics. New game rendering effects will add in lifelike water splash and wave effects as well.
8.0 will also introduce new emblem and inscription customization, adaptive camouflage, mini-map functions, and an enhanced tech tree interface. And, players will be able to transfer free experience into team experience, as well as have the ability to select which of the six battle modes they want to play, another first for the game.
Additionally, the expected introduction of new tanks comes as no surprise. A Soviet tech tree expansion will introduce 5 new tanks destroyers, the SU-122-44, SU-122-54, SU-100M-1, Uralmash-1, and Object 263. The British tech tree will also be expanded to introduce it’s very first premium tank, the Matilda Black Prince experimental medium infantry tank.
