Video Game Characters You Never Knew Shared The Same Voice Actor

characters-same-voice-actorThe list below may surprise even the most dedicated of you gamers. Hell, some of it even surprised me. Who would’ve thought that a big, brutish gear soldier, and a diabolical, dim-witted robot, shared the same voice. Or that an innocent, bubbly blonde princess and a curvaceous, full-figured AI, are in fact the exact same person. Mind blowing stuff, right?

Well, here it is, our list of video game characters you never knew shared the same voice actor.

Hercules was never in God of War 2(cut out from the final version). He was also voiced by Kevin Sorbo in God of War 3 and Ascension.

    • RichTheRookie

Correct! However, whilst Hercules never made the final cut, Cam Clarke was still credited with voicing Hercules. Nonetheless, it’s amazing what these talented people do for the world of gaming.

  • Kevp

You should’ve used David in the Last of Us instead of Desmond since Nolan North practically sounds exactly the same with both characters but people won’t even notice him as David in The Last of Us. Also Snow in FF13 is also voiced by Troy Baker. The guy in inFamous Second Son is also Troy Baker.(face and voice)

    • RichTheRookie

Thanks for the comment Kevp. I’ve gone one better and updated it to someone else. Check it out and lemme know what you think. I used both Joel and Booker as they’re recent releases, and they were kindly suggested by someone on N4G. as were most of the updates. But if you can think of more, I’ll gladly chuck ‘em in.

    • DiaperDude

My jaw hit the ground when I found out Nolan North did David.
Also, I thought it was great how Nolan commented on how awesome it was to be the “bad guy”!

  • Slickeeboy

No love for for Steve Blum – Video game and anime voice over legend.

    Shame on you.

    • RichTheRookie

Oh God, shame on me indeed. Steve Blum will be added promptly. Thanks for the suggestion Slickeeboy.
